Become a DAV Member
DAV membership connects veterans to a national organization advocating for the benefits they’ve earned and to a local chapter here in Tucson. As a member of DAV Chapter 4, you can stay informed, participate in chapter activities, and support other veterans in the community.

Membership is available to veterans with service-connected disabilities.
You may be eligible if you:
have a VA disability rating
were wounded, injured, or became ill during military service
received the Purple Heart
were separated from service because of a disability
If you’re not sure whether you qualify, call us. We can talk through it with you.
DAV members are part of a national voice for veterans and a local community of support. Membership helps strengthen DAV’s work advocating for veterans’ benefits, health care, and services.
As a local member, you can:
stay connected with Chapter 4
attend meetings and chapter activities
learn about ways to support other veterans
become eligible to train as a Chapter Service Officer
You do not have to be ready for a volunteer role to become a member. Some members simply want to stay informed and connected. Others choose to get more involved over time.
If you are interested in serving as a Chapter Service Officer, DAV membership is an important first step. Certification and training are required before helping veterans with claims.
